My Son Sanctuary

Bahn Mi with great friends

I am amazed by Vietnam's amazing culture. The amazing smiles of the locals.

How they produce their own products from their spices to their bread.

The food is absolutely mouth watering.

Varah Loabi Vey Maldives!

Welcome to Maldives, where sands are white as the smiles of the locals, where fish swim happily in the warm waters of the Indian Ocean, where the weather is a dream, and the deep rays of the sun waits to engulf you in their arms. -> I got this from visitmaldives.com

I only have 4 words I am in love!

The picture perfect turquoise sea & blue skies.

The spectacular & romantic water villa.

Maldives is love.

Beautiful Bali!

Bali is a beautiful Indonesian island with its breathtaking scenes, majestic beaches & awe-inspiring culture. I  will never lose interest in wandering through all its different corners.

Every curve is another stunning discovery to unveil.

The creative entrances that welcomes you to heartening family bind.

The intimate homelike villas between rice fields & rivers.

This was one of the best travels I've had because I was with my best friends. As they say, it's not where you are going but who you are with and for this one I have the best of both.

Bangkok, Thailand

This was an unexpected stop. We were suppose to go to Krabi but unfortunately we missed our flight. Call us stupid! Hahaha But people make mistakes and they learn from it. And we did a lot. Lol

So we booked another trip for Bangkok since we will fly from Bangkok to Chiang Mai and I guess it was a good idea because we got to experience the wonderful city of Bangkok.

We stayed at Mariya Hotel with lotsa freebies. We get to eat cookies and drinks 24 hrs. Hahaha

The cabs are colorful from orange to pink.

The people are very accomodating and smiling. So, I guess that's why they are called The Land of Smiles.

We visited the infamous Ancient Siam. It's an outdoor museum. You get to see 100+ awesome sights such as temples, buddhas, the floating river and etc. It's just like the city way back when.

I would love to go back to Bangkok and explore it even more.

Malaysia, Truly Asia! One more time.

I can't forget this trip because I wore shorts in this unbelievably cold place. Hahaha. Genting highlands is magnificient. The view, the temperature, the people, the food and the adventure are splendid. We had our breakfast at Resorts World Genting. We rode the mini gandola. We wished for health, wealth and love in the wishing fountain. We bought leggings at Giordano genting for 700php. What a rip off! Lol. We rode the impressive cable car overlooking the moutains with fog. Just amazing!
We travelled 10 trains stops to Kuala Lumpur to see the infamous Petronas Twin Towers. The architecture and structure of the towers are indeed remarkable and the place is unthinkably overcrowded. Locals and tourist are just there doing nothing. Haha
But I love Malaysia. There are just some bits and pieces you enjoy about the place.

Malaysia, Truly Asia

My friend, her Aunt & I went to Malaysia because of something important. We just need to cross the borders and go back to have my passport stamped. We traveled from Singapore by bus for almost 3 hours or so. The fair was pretty cheap though. Thanks to my friend's Aunt for the free fare. At first glance I thought I was going back to the Philippines. Everything looks pretty the same but the smell? totally different. I still love the Filipino scent and all. But one thing that impressed me was the food cooked in LIME STONE. Raw food served and you just have to let it cook for 5 minutes and poof! perfectly cooked chicken & shrimp. and I love the noodles too. Absolutely yummy!

The Lion City

Wiki info:
The English name of Singapore is derived from the Malay Singapura (Sanskrit सिंहपुर Lion City), hence the customary reference to the nation as the Lion City.
The country is highly urbanized.
Dining, along with shopping, is said to be the country's national pastime.
The diversity of food is touted as a reason to visit the country, and the variety of food representing different ethnicity is seen by the government as a symbol of its multiculturalism.

This was my first travel out of the country. This was something I didn't really plan of doing. You see when a girl's heart is broken she makes decisions out of nowhere. But I'm glad I made this risk. Singapore is a great place to escape. Staying there for almost 2 months I think I've been everywhere. The famous Orchard Road where you can find the most luxurious brands Chanel, Prada, Louis Vuitton, D & G, Marc Jacobs, Zara, Christian Dior, Just Cavalli, Topshop, Gucci, Salvatore Ferragamo & et al. Name it, they're all there. How can I ever forget Lucky Plaza, the place for the Filipinos. If you're working in Singapore and you miss Filipino food & stuff, go to Lucky Plaza it feels like home. And of course the place where I stayed, Yishun. I guess I learned to memorize the red line. Ang Mo Kio - Toa Payoh - Novena, where there's this church I pray my rosary and they say it's miraculous and I believed it is. Somerset & of course Dhoby Ghaut the interchange station, if you won't follow the signs you'll totally be lost. How would I miss my trip to Little India, it's like you're really in India. You'll see a lot of dark skinned people and the stuff they sell there are really cheap. And of course the famous Bugis, where you can get stylish clothes & stuff. But I think if you convert the price it's a little costly. And also Marina Bay, where you'll see the famous Merlion, the unbelievable architecture design of Marina Sands Bay Hotel, the Durian like structure of Esplanade and the awesome lights when evening comes. And lastly, my favorite part is when I got a free treat from my friend Menj to Sentosa Island where Universal Studios is located. Universal Studios is my second best choice of the happiest place on Earth. I still consider Disneyland as the first and it's still on my list of places to go. I'll never forget when my friend told me that we need to ride "Mummy Revenge" and I'd have to say I almost thought I regret the decision of joining her. LOL. It was the scariest ride I ever had. Imagine riding in a roller coaster but faster with stops and turns and the lights were just blinking. But I love the Jurassic park, the fairy land where the Shrek 4-D theatre is found and the sumptuous Goldilocks restau with there mouth watering mashed potato. And of course, the lights camera action of Steven Spielberg where they showed how they make stunts and effects in movies. Absolutely mint!

I must say my Singapore trip was an experience of a lifetime.
